She wore a necklace made of pharaohs bones

Shorts: thrifted mens levis DIY, shirt: express, vest: zara, belt: club monaco, shoes: ninewest, bikini top: victorias secret

-A picture of my new hair as requested. Seriously cannot wait until it grows out. Until then, I'll be pinning/tying it up to avoid looking like an awkward asian mom.
-Decided to get more wear out of these shoes. To me, they scream "winter", but I guess they don't look too bad with cutoffs and a huge belt
-Speaking of cutoffs, I've been living in these lately. Most cutoffs I find in stores don't have that loose/slouchy feel that I prefer, so I've taken to making my own out of thrifted mens jeans. Going to the thrift store tomorrow to scrounge for more.

Summer to do list:
1. read more
2. eat healthier/go to the gym a lot
3. start playing piano again...for fun
4. relax

ps. wow these pictures came out OR-ANGE.

skirt: H&M (worn backwards), shirt: F21, Boots: Topshop, Bag: Chanel

My SLR ran out of battery, so I took these with my good ol' canon digicam that I usually tote around with me (I never leave home without a camera. Just incase) which explains the crap quality.

I finally got my haircut. I really really miss my old hair, but it was getting way too damaged. Sigh.

PS. So happy about the amazing weather (sans rain) lately. Mojitos and poolside tanning with girlfriends are planned for tomorrow. Two words : pure bliss.

Sorry about not posting in ages! I've been sick since last sunday with what seemed to be the flu (swine?). The school actually quarantined me for a week, and I wasn't allowed to take my finals (fine by me).

I managed to drag myself to graduation on friday with the aid of dayquil. Not a very pleasant experience, but whatever i GRADUATED.

I don't have any recent pictures, so I'll just leave you with this. I went to see a screening of Children of Invention, a film directed by my cousin, this weekend in brooklyn. It was pretty amazing. But yea, back to Brooklyn. I swear, I'm moving straight there after college.

Check out more info on the film here!

The music's too loud and the noise from the crowd Increases the chance of misinterpretation

Me sans lipstick. I feel naked.

I also really really need a haircut.

Dress: Forever 21, Shirt: Express, Belt: Thrifted, Bag: Store from Hong Kong, Boots: Topshop, Glasses: UO

Everytime I wear these boots, people give me odd looks and backhanded comments. It's not unusual for classmates to go "wow...I like your hooker boots a lot. How do you ever walk in them?". I absolutely can not wait until this fall when I can wear whatever the hell I want. Fashion freedom, yessss.

To be more barbeque friendly (wore this to a grad/birthday barbeque), I changed out of the hardcore topshop boots into sandals. Boring, I know, but functionality trumps style in some cases. Overeating, attempts at playing football, and me absolutely owning in the card game "spoons" ensued. I will absolutely kill anyone who gets in between me and that little plastic spoon. I'm serious.

take me back to the start

Busy living life like a typical reckless, carefree and completely irresponsible teenager. I really don't want to grow up.

Prom was SO MUCH FUN. It's tuesday, and I can safely say that I'm still thoroughly exhausted by the weekend.

I tried SO hard to spend as little money as possible, getting my shoes/clutch from DSW and my jewelry from target. I can't justify spending a fortune on just one day, even if it's my senior prom.

Being the procrastinator that I am, I left everything to the last two hours. BAD IDEA, especially if you have NO IDEA what your hair/makeup was going to be. I really just went with my gut with both, and I think it turned out alright. However, this left me with absolutely no time to put on nails/eyelashes. Oh well.

Dress: Bebe (seriously), Shoes: BCBG, Clutch: DSW, Jewelry: Target

It was so nice to see everybody dressed up, such a bittersweet way to end high school.

Now the only thing to look forward to is graduation!
