spring needs to come now

I absolutely cannot stand the cold weather. Seriously, can spring get here already?

I can't wait until the weather gets warmer so I can experiment a bit with my style. Leaning more towards soft, feminine and romantic looks (lace, anybody?) for spring (but not without a bit of an edge).

Excited to experiment with soft and nude colors (oatmeal especially), nature-inspired accessories (OBSESSED with crystal/quartz jewelry at the moment), whimsical touches and parisian stripes.

ps. I really REALLY want that striped top by erin wasson x rvca, does anyone know when it goes in stores?

Wore this to bum around with the best friend, sans makeup plus glasses.

Currently in love with chunky knit sweaters. Found this little knitted green gem of a sweater in the mens section for 2 dollars. Score? It seems to have gotten a lot of love from its previous owner, as its sleeves and hem are frayed.

I look homeless more and more each day.

Happy new year everybody! Went to a couple drugstores last night with futile attempts to get some rolls of film developed from my new fisheye lomo camera I got for christmas. Seriously, has film become THIS obsolete?

Lately for me, comfort trumps all. I've find myself falling for the same pieces over and over again because I feel comfortable and confident in them (or maybe it's just be being lazy). Here's a typical outfit for me lately: leather jacket + fur collar + striped top + jeans.

I got these boots from an sample sale a couple months ago, and have been wearing them to death. Got a HUGE discount for them. Now if I can only get my hands on the pistol booties...

I've also been wearing this fur collar that I've won off ebay with EVERYTHING. Definitely thinking of buying more in different shades.

surprise

Yessss. Finally got the YSL ring i've been lusting over for AGES from my dear father for my christmas/birthay gift. After wearing it nonstop for the last couple days, I've gotten more than a couple odd reactions from friends and family

"Looks like melted chocolate and foil"
"Is that a real birds egg?"
"Fossilized dinosaur poop?"

Hope you all had a great holiday season and got what you all wished for :)

New years eve is tomorrow, I can't believe we're about to start a new decade already. Sad, we won't be able to wear those cheesy new years glasses for another millennia now.

PS. Avatar was pretty fucking spectacular. If you haven't seen it yet, GO SEE IT (preferably in imax 3D). It's decided, i'm totally being a Navi next halloween.
